Overview of business area or project:
This demanding role in an international environment within a global bank is in the area of pricing/fees/commissions. The strategic platform in this area is the eXtended Pricing Platform (XPP) with the target to become the "client-centric, integrated price management across all product areas". XPP is a future oriented and sustainable price management platform based on strategic technologies and is seamlessly integrated in the IT landscape and the core processes of the bank. In this respect XPP is an important driver of the today's and future price calculation.
Key Responsibilities:
You will be required to fully understand Business Requirements within the Bank, including the terminology and tools used. Documenting and specifying Functional Solutions in a manageable way will be the backbone of your role. You are also expected to model Use Cases and Business Objects in UML.
Overview of the department/team:
Pricing Services is a department within SUB IT & Operations that offers IT solutions for pricing/fees/commissions. It mainly contains two fee calculation and debiting platforms; the eXtended Pricing Platform and the periodical fees system DEPGE. More than twelve senior experts (Business Analysts, Solution Engineers and Architects) enhance and operate the multi-hundred million revenue generator XPP in agile projects.
Challenges Contractor will be facing in this role:
Business Requirements are complex, and involve large amounts of data. You will be required to fully understand what is being asked for, and find a solution as it pertains to the eXtended Pricing Platform (XPP), so you will need to understand how XPP is structured, and how each component works with the other. You will need superior communication skills, as well as the ability to perform certain Resource Management tasks.
Essentials Skills and Qualifications:
- Several years of experience with Software and System Architecture.
- Top tier Analytical and Requirements Engineering skills.

- All Essential Skills, plus a proven track record of top quality work in the Financial Sector.
