For a project at our client ‘s site, an international bank based in Giubiasco, Ticino, we are looking for an experiencedData focused Requirements Engineer - Credit Risk Application (5617)
The ideal candidate will elicit, analyse, model and validate business requirements, conditions and priorities within application development projects in the Credit Risk Domain. The project is centered around an application that sources data from various source systems, transforms and integrates that data from multiple sources and then makes it available, via several different natures of interface, to other systems.
Your Qualifications:
• 6+ years of experience in requirements engineering in application development projects, preferabely within financial services
• Competent at using SQL to query and analyze data from a database and the ability to analyze databases and specify data requirements
• Familiarity in data flows and data catalogue / data gap analysis
• Credit risk domain know-how and IT technical background would be highly appreciated
• Soft skills to handle stakeholders with different background (Business Project Managers, User Representatives, Programmers, Testers etc.)
• Understanding of architecture diagrams (mostly UML class diagrams)
• Fluent written and spoken English
Your Responsibilities:
• Analyses requirements to identify data sources, evaluates data suitability and quality
• Identification and documentation of requirements for new data feeds and data feed changes
• Documents and specifies mapping and transformation of data from inbound data feeds into the application data model. Documents and specifies data extracts and reports
• Ensures that specified requirements are transmitted entirely and correctly to the development and test team members by writing clear and detailed functional and non-function requirements specifications
• Supports developers and testers by resolving business issues that come up during the technical implementation and testing phase
• Provides subject matter expertise to support the development and validation of quality assurance, application architecture, testing and other project deliverables
• Production and sign-off of standard requirements engineering deliverables (Interface Specifications, Data Delivery Agreements, Use Case Model, Use Cases, Domain Object Model, Business Rule Specifications, Screen Specifications, Non Functional Requirements Specifications, Traceability) on time and with high quality
• Effort estimations and task planning for Requirements Engineering related project tasks
• Develops functional area expertise with business engineering process standards, tools (Subversion, JIRA, Enterprise Architect, HP Application Lifecycle Management etc.) and techniques
