Associate Controller
Are you a Financial Controller with at least 5 years of professional experience in a blue chip company? Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity within a non-governmental organisation (NGO) ? If so, please have a look at the following details:
Experis IT Switzerland is currently on the search for an Associate Controller to join one of their clients, an NGO, based in Geneva.
Your role:
- Provide advice on budget guidance, timelines, planning, communication;
- Work closely with the Manager, Administration Team to translate annual work plans into annual operating budgets, clearly identifying resource requirements and reviewing underlying assumptions for consistency purposes;
- Prepare & consolidate the Yearly Budgets/Reforecasts;
- Capture and report to finance management any risk or opportunities of under/over spending on an annual basis through on-going communication with budget owners and Division Heads;
- Compare actuals to Budget and reforecasts and analyze and review variances on a monthly basis with budget owners/work stream leads to understand main drivers behind under-over spending;
To deliver the required results, it's essential that you have:
- In-depth Excel skills and knowledge
- Complex data and reconciliation experience
- Good understanding of system and process flows
- Fluent in English and French
