For a project at our client ‘s site, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for an experiencedSenior Business Analyst - Financial / Regulatory Change (5626)
Your role will be in a project for Valuation in Resolution (ViR) where the objective is to comply with regulatory requirements for banks to have the capabilities in place to update valuations in a timely manner.
Your Qualifications:
• 7-10 years’ experience in business analysis practices such as requirements engineering, modeling business processes, use cases and test case analysis focusing on finance
• Good understanding of accounting or financial/regulatory requirements
• Outstanding conceptual and analytical skills, problem-solving skills and critical thinking
• Experience of driving stakeholder working group activities delivering required output by agreed deadlines
• Strong knowledge of MS Office packages (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Access
• Fluent in English, German is a big plus
Your Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the gathering of business requirements, documentation of business requirements including putting forward recommendations for solutions, where required
• Leading an internal working group with full accountability for driving and completing deliverables within agreed timeframes
• Extensive interactions with Business and IT counterparts to understand high-level business requirements, engage/drive the design approach and syndication by, for instance, effectively run regular working group meetings and workshops
• Driving business change readiness activities and liaison with business users for acceptance of deliverables
• Understand the overall objectives and architectural aspects of the program and ensure convergence of the project outcome/design to defined objectives
• Preparation of functional specifications and use cases for the delivery of the business requirements
