Regional Strategic Buyer with profound Supply Chain knowledge wanted for our Lausanne based client in the food industry.
Your experience/skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Supply Chain or equivalent field
- 3+ years in sourcing for the IS/IT and Telecommunication category
- Experience in contract for managed services and cloud services as well as very good command of Microsoft Office products like Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Domain knowledge in Procurement and Supply Chain along with understanding of national and international Procurement Regulations.
- Proven successful use of risk- and supplier relation management as well as responsible sourcing
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Developing and implementing the category strategy, utilizing Strategic Sourcing processes, tools and policies
- Performing supplier market-, category- and supply risk analysis and developing Total Cost Ownership models to identify improvement opportunities
- Preparing contracts and providing the most beneficial agreements with suppliers and ensuring effective contract management follow up activities are in place
- Managing the relationship with partners and stakeholders along with integrating category plans and outcomes in budgets and price planning
- Handling all Supplier Relationship Management besides combining innovation, renovation and post award cost improvement elements from suppliers
- Ensuring compliance to the company's business standards, policies and principles
