Our client, a top tier global bank based in Zurich, is looking for a highly competent Finance Modelling and Methodologies Specialist with sound Treasury knowledge and experience in Liquidity and Funding risk models to join a fast-paced, global project initiative.
Are you a Finance Modelling and Methodologies Specialist with relevant experience in Financial markets and business lines of a bank and very good understanding of the balance sheet and currently looking for your next project in an international environment?

Tasks
- Analyze complex businesses and its impact on liquidity and funding
- Develop models and support modelling/parameter choices for business as usual, market-wide, idiosyncratic and combined scenarios
- Review and refine business franchise concept
- Lead discussions with stakeholders on model approaches, assumptions and results
Ideal Profile
- At least 5 years' of relevant work experience in risk modelling, ideally in liquidity and funding
- Financial services industry experience in treasury related matters
- University degree in a quantitative subject (eg mathematics, physics or engineering), ideally with a strong curriculum in statistics/econometrics
- Proficient in MS Applications (Excel and Access), familiar with running SQL queries and solid skills in R and Matlab
- Ability to communicate logically and precisely, including writing rigorous and clear technical documentation
- Excellent analytical and communication skills, making presentations in a structured way
- Fluent in English; German would be an advantage
