Business Analyst (P&C Insurance)
Your responsibilities include:
- Developing business outcomes through analysis and design for an end-to-end digital insurance business and ensure solutions meet the business and strategic imperatives
- Actively contribute as part of a cross functional team and collaborate with business and implementation teams
- Communicate and develop user stories, design and create solution documents
- Specify acceptance criteria for each user story and use BDD syntax to support automation
- Coordinate the implementation of the user stories with our sourcing partners
- Thoroughly compile ideas using various tools and techniques such as wireframes, use cases, user stories, data models, mind maps, user journeys and data
Your skills should include:
- Proven experience as a product owner or business analyst role within an Agile/Lean environment
- Proven domain experience in P&C insurance domain
- Proven capability to convert complex business problems into simple slices for iterative delivery.
- Strong planning and organising skills
- Strong analytical skills, with high attention to details
- Strong hands on ability to communicate user stories that follow INVEST criteria and develop a team backlog
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Strong team player and able to work in an environment of high levels of change and complexity
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to speak effectively to providers and internal teams
- Excellent communication skills in face to face conversation and using digital media
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Happy and willing to work in a cross functional Agile team in a collaborative way
- Positive attitude and flexibility to work in a dynamic environment
- Comfortable to have technical conversation with engineering team and drive decisions on technical debt vs cheap solution for earlier value release
- Must be comfortable with data and someone that can convince people by articulating the power of data
