Responsibility
_ Facilitate the extension of exiting KYC agreement to Germany by adhering to global policies and guidelines, as well as respecting all associated local, tax or other regulatory requirements.
_ Perform due diligence controls in relation to the identification and reputation of clients including associated parties (directors, shareholders, beneficial owners) using internal and public sources
_ To ensure the bank remains vigilant in the fight against money laundering and meets its regulatory obligations, perform a risk-based analysis (reputational, PEP and sanction risks, purpose of the client relationship) and document a formalized opinion. Validate/update the client profile in the referential systems to reflect the KYC assessment
_ Coordinate with the different stakeholders of the project, incl. compliance, KYC analysts and management, to ensure a smooth functioning of the KYC remediation process
Your Profile
_ Good business level of English and German, (additional language skills are considered a plus)
_ 3-5 years, recent prior professional employment in a related field ideally from consulting background
_ University or business school ( FH ) graduate, with a degree qualifying you to work in the financial sector, majoring in: finance, economics, law or international relations
_ Excellent analytical and writing skills
_ Good interpersonal and communication skills
_ Excellent time management and ability to work autonomously
_ Excellent ability to self-study and engagement
_ Responsible, committed with a good attention to detail
_ First-hand professional experience of the German, however international/European experience is considered a plus (AML, PEP, tax, etc.)
_ Candidates must be able to focus in high pressure situations, and are self-motivated to develop themselves through proactive engagement within the team and across business units
