My financial client in Geneva is looking for Finance Project Manager to manage the planning and delivery of SAP BPC implementation. They are ideally looking for a permanent profile but would entertain a short term contract to get them started.
Role Overview:
The role will manage the planning and delivery of SAP BPC implementation Phase 2. Phase 2 will build on the Phase 1 solution that is due to implement in April 2018.
Phase 2 will:
- Incorporate industrial costs in 2018 budget and actuals
- Implement working capital implementation
- Implement management reporting layer
- Integrate BPC solution to further source systems.
If phase 1 should extend beyond end April 2018 the role will manage phase 1 implementation to completion
Role Responsibilities:
SAP BPC Phase 2 Programme Definition - agree scope, generate project plan, agree resourcing and agree budget
SAP BPC Implementation (or other solution)
- Managing project delivery
- Tracking project plan to delivery success
- Capturing, monitoring and managing project issues and risks
- Track and manage project dependencies
- Track and manage project budget, including budget vs actuals reporting
- Manage project resources
- Manage differing views across project team and align to agreed course of action
- Governance and Reporting
- Run project team review meetings twice a week
- Provide weekly status updates (reports and update meetings)
- Run monthly Steering Committee meetings
- Engage and manage IT stakeholders
- Engage and manage business stakeholders
Skills and Experience
- Proven IT project management experience
- Experience delivering projects using agile methods
- Experience implementing SAP modules
- Knowledge and experience of consolidation tooling (eg SAP BPC, Hyperion Etc.)
- Finance & Accounting qualifications (ACA, ACCA etc) helpful
