Junior IT Specialist (Manufacturing)
Boudry - Neuchatel
Contract role
Experis is currently looking for a Junior IT Specialist, who can speak fluently English and French for a contract role based in the French-speaking part of Switzerland.
The position is available immediately and the contract duration would be between 6-12 months.
PREREQUISITES
- Junior IT Support Specialist with at least 2 years experience in help-desk and more specifically in the manufacturing area and/or quality systems support.
- EU citizen or valid Swiss working permission
List of responsibilities (non-exhaustive):
You will be based in our clients' sites in Boudry and will also be involved in project or support activity at the Couvet Manufacturing plant.
Ability to travel independently is required (driving distance of 25 minutes between the two sites).
Liaise closely with Manufacturing and Quality organizations of Boudry and Couvet
SKILLS:
- IT 2nd level support on the phone regarding the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and its supporting Hardware such as Desktops, Label Printers, Bar code readers in French.
- IT support and administration of the Production, Laboratory and Quality related systems such as Chromatography, Room Monitoring System (RMS), etc.
- Communicate and escalate to 3rd level support, management or vendors in English.
- Authoring documentation such as Work Practice (WPR) and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
- Management of Deviations, Corrective & Preventive Actions and Change Control.
- IT Incident, Problem Management according to ITIL best practices.
- Develop and maintain Knowledge Document for all performed activities to allow cross-training of other IT staff as well as new employees recruited in the future.
- Collaborate with IT groups to ensure standards are applied for design, technology and compliance.
- Participation required to duty services in place to cover production 2 shifts. 24/7 support on a low probability of occurrence.
Skills/Knowledge Required:
- Working experience & relevant education
- Business and/or Information Systems degree or equivalent experience.
- More than 1 year in the field of IT Support & Helpdesk activities.
- IT Support and administration of Manufacturing, Laboratory and Quality systems or equivalent in clean environment a strong plus.
- Pharmaceutical or related industry is a plus.
Skills

Knowledge
- ITIL Foundations certification a plus
- Knowledge of the regulatory pharmaceutical environment (GxP).
- Knowledge of manufacturing environment and supporting technologies a plus
