Role Delivery Manager Online Banking


Role Purpose

Online banking is a central component for the interaction of the client with the bank. As technical system owner we’re responsible for a smooth operation of the system and to enable implementation of new features.
The applicant must be able to understand the system environment with focus on the online banking applications. This requires good technical knowledge of the application and its interfaces to other systems (satellite systems and core banking).
Liaising with the responsible persons and vendor is essential to successfully fill this role.
The role will cover both, service delivery for run the bank and technical project management for change the bank. The delivery manager will coordinate activities of internal and external development teams. In addition he will be the main contact point for our 3rd party vendors.
The candidate should have experience in project management, preferably in the finance sector and/or in the digital environment. Additionally, we are looking for a highly motivated team player with good communication skills.
At the same time the candidate should be able to speak on eye level with the technical experts. Also he should not hesitate to put his hands on the system and support the development team with his technical expertise.
As our Online Banking system is highly integrated with our core banking System with Avaloq we’re looking for someone with experience with the Avaloq core banking platform (ACP).


Key Accountabilities

Technical Project management for Online Banking
Tracking and monitoring project milestones and deliverables
Coordination of activities across different teams
Collaboration with business analysts and change managers in UK
Challenge business and technical requirements
Enable collaboration of internal resources (business/developers) and external resources (vendor)
Solution design for new implementation together with internal and external development teams
Support of testing activities during release cycles
Support run the bank team with incident management, business enquiries and ad-hoc reporting
Incident analysis and coordination of bug-fixes
Stakeholder management/SLA reporting

Skills
Proven track record in project management and/or delivery management
Knowledge of state of the art technologies in the digital space
Database know-how (SQL/ERM/Data modelling)
Proficiency in programming languages
Acquaintance with Windows and Unix environments
Good English written and spoken
Business Analysis
Experience in requirements engineering and solution design
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently
Structured, analytical and proactive way of thinking
Reliable and trustworthy
