Communication specialist

One of our major client is looking for an Communication Specialist for a long term contract based in Zurich, Switzerland. (with possibility to travel to Geneva)

The Communication Specialist will have the following Skills:

. Experience in stakeholder management and communications planning and ability to collaborate with stakeholders across multiple sites
. Strong time management skills to meet deadlines, establish clear priorities quickly and bring activities to completion on time
. Experience in organisational change communications, ideally within a Matrix-structured organisations.
. Exemplary written and verbal communication skills, and demonstrated ability to clearly strategize, create and manage messages to diverse audiences.
. Ability to deal with tight deadlines, understand the larger objective, and create innovative, compelling ideas to holistically fulfil strategies through multiple channels.
. Ability to engage and influence stakeholders across all levels of the business together with proven experience working with senior business leaders.
. Excellent Analytical skills; applies logical thinking to gathering and analysing information
. Strong planning and organising skills; effectively prioritises and meets designated timeframes, ensuring work priorities are completed on time and within budget
. Highly motivated and enthusiastic with proven experience in balancing the demands and expectations of multi-stakeholder groups while managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

The Communication Specialist will be responsible for the following:

* The purpose of the Communications Specialist is to develop, coordinate and implement effective change readiness communications activities for the Transformation team.
* This position is responsible for the design and delivery of diverse communication requirements for the Transformation project. This will require development of communications materials for the Transformation project and impacted stakeholder groups within the Organisation. This includes the development of key messages to ensure awareness of the changes, and timely communication of project activities and milestones.
* This role will require strong stakeholder management skills and need to develop close working relationships with Transformation team members, internal communications and business specialists within line management, and Program communications support.

Key accountabilities:
* Develop and implement an effective communications plan to ensure awareness of key changes being delivered by the Transformation project
* Leverage existing communications channels to drive early awareness of key changes and engagement of key stakeholders
* Interaction with Transformation Change Lead and team members to determine communications priorities, secure communications input and develop and refine communications materials
* Engagement of Transformation Change Lead and project stream leads to enable workstream input into regular project communications
* Collaboration with Change Lead and Change Analysts to ensure communications are used effectively to reinforce key change messages, learning objectives and training activities
* Look for opportunities to drive business readiness via communications
* Support change readiness activities
* Other duties as requested by Change Lead
