For a project at our client‘s site, an international bank based in Dübendorf, we are looking for an experienced

Compliance Officer - Data Analysis in Financial Crime (5087)

In this role, you will be responsible for the support for managing all issues in an effort to mitigate the risks that this client base poses across the bank.

Your Qualifications:

- Excellent Data analysis skills with excellent Excel, Access skills, familiarity with databases
- Previous work experience in the banking sector with Compliance / Audit / Risk Control or consultancy functions with exposure to AML/KYC and High-Risk Client topics
- Interest & passion for Compliance, risk topics, and international political developments; affinity and knowledge of the international political developments
- Open, flexible, communicative and team-oriented with perseverance as an independent Control Function representative
- Good analytical and investigative skills
- Fluent in English, other languages are a bonus

Your Responsibilities:

- Supporting the Global Desk Team in its mandate for managing all issues in an effort to mitigate the risks that this client base poses across the bank
- Providing guidance to existing and new employees regarding the sound application of the internal policy and the various controls in place to monitor the risks associated with this particular high-risk client segment
- Advising and collaborating with regional colleagues as well as the front office on a regular basis to maintain continuity in our risk controls of the client population
- Supporting the Desk Team in deep dive analysis on client segments and regions to gauge specific risks and exposure to the bank
- Supporting the Desk Team in documenting processes and procedures where the focus is controlling the risk of this client population.
- Providing periodic reporting and analyses of statistics to both internal and external stakeholders as well as senior management.
