For our client, a pharmaceutical company in Basel, we are looking for a:
Senior Business Analyst
Background:
In support of a project managed by the Pharma Healthcare Compliance Office (pHCO), the IT department is looking for a Senior Business Analyst with experience in the Pharma commercial environment.
Tasks & responsibilities:
One of the goals is assessing the solution landscape and the business needs for the future years and define an IT road-map for pHCO. He/she shall work together with the team that is managing this project, in order to help define a medium-long term IT road-map.
The candidate will perform analytical and conceptual activities to an accounted solution portfolio against internal business customers. He/She will provide consultancy and support in defining and documenting the outcome of strategic analysis, by working on his/her own, but also by taking part in meetings with the IT team and business representatives.
Moreover, he/she will develop business-specific organizational solutions, deal with organizational problems and focus in particular on process organization and single tasks.
Must Haves:
+8 years of experience in business analysis in the pharmaceutical industry, at both strategic and tactical level
Strong analytical skills
Strong synthesis and presentation skills
Business process modelling skills
Able to document business cases
Able to gather and document business and IT requirements
Experience in defining IT roadmaps
Experience in interacting with senior management
Proven track of records (mandatory)
Goal-oriented
Teamwork-oriented
Able to deal with a steep learning curve about the scope of the assessment and to become productive in a very short time
English language: full professional proficiency (both spoken and written)
Nice to Haves:
+++ Experience with IT road-maps in a Pharma company
+++ Experience in area of approval processes for "Transfers of Value" to Healthcare Professionals, Healthcare Organizations and Healthcare-Related Entities
Start date: mid of February
Location: Basel area
End date: 04.06.2018 (4 months)
Workload: first month 50%, then 100%
