For our banking client in Zurich we are currently looking for a Digital Platform Expert
Start date: ASAP
End date: 30.04.2018
Location: Zurich
Digital platform is a central component for the interaction of the client with the bank. The applicant must be able to understand the system environment with a focus on the interactions between the different applications and also the security aspect. The role involves finding and implementing viable solutions for new business requirements as well as analysing incidents.
Main tasks:
- Challenge business, technical requirements and support design of effective solutions
- Enable collaboration of internal resources (business/developers) and external resources (vendor)
- Implementation of the digital platform
- Collaboration with business analysts and change managers in UK
- Support technical project management and testing activities during release cycles
- Solution design for new implementation together with 3rd party developers
- Coordination of changes with other application management teams
- Problem analysis of infrastructure and interfaces
- Implementation of new features (Change-the-Bank) and smooth operation (Run-the-Bank)
- API Management
- Open architecture support
- Incident analysis and coordination of bug-fixes
The ideal candidate shall bring:
- Knowledge of state of the art technologies in the digital space
- Database know-how (SQL/ERM/Datamodelling)
- Proficiency in programming languages and web technologies
- Proven know-how in the area of IT security
- Acquaintance with Windows and Unix environments
- English written and spoken, German spoken
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Requirements engineering
- Ability to work independently
- Structured, analytical and proactive way of thinking
- Reliable and trustworthy
Required Experience:
- Professional training or degree in computer science/engineering (or equivalent)
- Experience in IT projects/digital environments
- Avaloq knowledge (Avaloq certification preferred)
- Banking experience
