For our international client based in Basel, Experis is currently looking for a Project Manager for a contracting position of 1 year.

General information:

- Start date: 02.01.2018
- Latest start date: 08.01.2018
- End date: 31.12.2018
- Work location: Kaiseraugst & Basel
- Workload: 100%
- Remote/Home Office: Possible 1 day per week, prior approval needed.
- Travelling: Not required

Tasks & Responsibilities:

The PM is responsible for the delivery of the project, this includes:
- Understanding the current contract
- Understanding the need of Basel Site Security and possibly other stakeholders
- Contract negotiations together with Purchasing
- Creating an implementation plan with the supplier
- Creating and managing a project charter, schedule, resource and budget plan
- Understanding implementation proposals from the supplier and engaging right stakeholders
- Working together with the business (Site Security, Engineering and others) and other IT resources
- Running regular Steering Committees
- Delivering project according to plan

You bring for this role the following qualifications:

Must Haves:
- +5 years of PM experience (ideally: projects related to applications & data services; PM experience with databases; PM experience with security systems)
- Fluent German (very important as we are looking for a German speaking PM)
- Technical background/know-how to understand business needs
- Good English skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to analyze and assess the business need and assess using IT solution architecture principles
- Ability to challenge requirements, identifying standard vs. custom solutions
- Excellent documentation skills
- Experience as Coordinator Lead in a Matrix organization
- Ability to define short, clear instructions for non-IT individuals
- Ability to drive outcome
- Great communication skills and self-driven personality
- Accountable, structured and proactive
