For a project at our client‘s site, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for aFinancial Analyst / Consolidator - Real Estate Fund (4991)
Very challenging and interesting role in working with one of the leading real estate investor in Europe. In February/March, one of the largest funds needs to be consolidated and the financial report completed.
Your Qualifications:
- Recently qualified CPA/CA or a qualified accountant with completed auditor-in-training articles
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in a comparable international environment, preferably with a BIG 4 company
- Experience in the use of consolidation software, preferably familiar with COGNOS
- Confident in dealing with external auditors, tax consultants and a matrix organization
- Knowledge of international accounting standards as well as Swiss GAAP is of benefit
- Exposure to due diligence processes for the acquisition of real estate is regarded beneficial
- Familiar with internal control frameworks (ICS or SOX) within an international business environment
- International real estate experience would be beneficial
- Fluent in English, German would be a benefit
Your Responsibilities:
- Perform the bi-annual consolidation in COGNOS and drive, co-ordinate and monitor the meeting of reporting deadlines of the group audit
- Take over the responsibility as Product Financial Manager for selected Real Estate Fund a/o Mandate in this very fast growing international business
- Manage and oversee the statutory audits and address country-specific issues with the external auditors for the property companies in your region
- Perform bridging entries for the property companies in your region for group reporting purposes
- Manage and support the financial due diligence process of potential property acquisitions in your region
- Active participation in the annual budgeting and forecasting processes
- Manage VAT and Corporate Income Tax compliance of the property companies in your region with the support of local business partners/consultants
- Perform mortgage solutions with various banks; participation in internal finance projects
