What are your goals? In the role of a Senior Business Analyst the candidate takes on a key role in this project, which is part of a strategic data integration program. The goal of the project is to take the company's data management practice to the next level. The candidate must perform complex analysis tasks and discuss and share the results with various stakeholders. The candidate has a self-starter attitude and can comfortably navigate all aspects of information governance interacting professionally with stakeholders on all levels.
Daily tasks:
- Perform encompassing analysis of current governance for data of overarching relevance to the company
- Establish the enterprise-wide big picture view on the company's data governance capabilities
- Capture and consolidate input of the company's data governance teams and further leaders/experts in IT/business
- Produce structured and manageable representation of analysis results
- Communicate results to stakeholders on all levels
Required knowledge and experience:
- Knowledge of data governance (data ownership, data quality, data change management) and of the fundamentals of master data management
- Able to turn fragmented sets of information into the authoritative enterprise-wide "big picture"
- Able to deliver results that serve as instruments to be used on ongoing basis
- Strong communication skills
- Able to handle ambiguity and conflicting information
- Relevant experience with similar task in a complex organization
