Copper/Fiber Access Network Engineer (FTTS) needed for contract role in Bern.
Responsible for copper/Fiber access network (FTTS) troubleshooting and repairing, it mainly focus on Swisscom main copper power cable between Central office to manhole.
Has a very strong ability to investigate the fault point and repair it on time.
Skilled use Echo meter tool.
Understand FTTS SOW (Scope of Work), key terms and customer requirements
Observe, identify, track and resolve project delivery issues or problems end to end
Prepare reports and proposal based on customer requirements
Communication with internal and external customer, team members and partners, enhance customer satisfaction and promote the market consolidation and development
Requirements:
Have much experience on Swisscom copper network, know the investigation process in DP or manhole for troubleshooting and repair power copper line.
A minimum of 3 years working experiences for Swisscom copper network.
Be familiar with copper/Fiber access network engineering standards and specifications, relevant products and elements knowledge
As advantage: availability of experience on Swisscom FTTx project
With common knowledge of relevant laws, business, finance, and bidding project experience.
Be good at training and motivating subordinates, good at communication coordination external and internal, well communication management ability and team management ability.
Good at finding and solving problems, and has a good sense of balancing and controlling a project.
