Regulatory Reporting Analyst

On behalf of our client, a leading global bank, we are looking for an English speaking Regulatory Reporting Analyst to join the bank's Liquidity Measurement & Reporting team:

The team is responsible for reporting and providing data analysis support on the Bank's liquidity reporting to Regulators such as Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR) or Net Stable Funding Ratio (NSFR) as well as supporting global liquidity management whose role is to optimize the structure of Bank's funding and liquidity.

For this contract position based in Zürich, Switzerland, our client is looking for a candidate who can start as soon as possible.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Responsible for preparation of monthly Loans & Deposits input into the daily and monthly LCR, divisional LCR, monthly NSFR & divisional NSFR, quarterly Additional Liquidity Monitoring Metrics (ALMM) or data validation for Barometer MI
  • Assume and own ad hoc requests from inception to completion. Respond to ad-hoc requests; support the Liquidity Teams in Treasury as well as divisional Finance Business Units in day to day analysis,
  • Contribute to efficiency and quality through process improvements and/or report enhancements on new and current tasks where applicable
  • Support other projects & initiatives relating to liquidity reporting

You must possess:

  • Mathematical confidence and accuracy when calculating large numbers
  • Very good excel knowledge.
  • Knowledge of the asset, liability and products commonly employed in financial markets for trading and risk management purposes
  • Candidates with Accounting, Finance, Risk Management, analysis experience within a banking environment are preferred. Applicants from other backgrounds with relevant skills will be considered. Graduates with little experience (up to 2 years of practical experience) who demonstrate competence in a specialist discipline will also be considered.
