Beschreibung

For a global bank we are searching for a Quality Assurance/Test Manager to join a team in Bern.

Department Small & Medium Enterprises (SME) within the Business Area Corporate & Investment Banking inside our client is responsible for Swiss oriented Corporate Clients. Around 450 employees are servicing these clients. This workforce is subdivided into 8 Regions in Switzerland and the Business Center in Gümligen near Bern. Currently, the Business Center in Gümligen is responsible for small and medium clients more than half of which are operative Swiss clients among others, including those with international background.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Defining test strategy and test goals in collaboration with the stakeholders
  • Responsible for gathering, analysis, development and validation of test scenarios, test cases and test data.
  • Responsible for delivering artefacts for relevant project phase of business initiative (test strategy and test goals, test concepts, test design and test plans) including effort estimation.
  • Planning and execution of the test activities including coordination of user acceptance tests
  • Monitoring and reporting of the test activities according to quality, time and budget
  • Defect Management
  • Continuous improvement of the test process

Overview of the department:

This area consists of different roles of experts (eg Project Manager, Solution Architects and Engineers, Requirement Engineers, Tests Manager and Test Engineers). Size of whole team is nearly 40 people in Gümligen. You can expect an ambitious team, whose pronounced team spirit, specific business expertise and high degree of methodological-conceptual skills guarantee an exciting working environment

As Test Manager you are well supported by experiences colleagues, IT Project Managers, Solution Architects and Requirement Engineers.

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Fluent written and spoken German
  • Good written and spoken English
  • Strong soft skills to handle stakeholders with different background (requirement engineers, project leads, programmers, offshore resources, testers etc.)
  • Knowledge of robotics automation, ideally Blue Prism
  • Min. 5 years of experience in test management within larger projects.
  • Strong ability to work both independently and integrated in a project team
  • Good time-management
  • Ideally experience in agile projects
