Technical Support Specialist wanted for our Basel based client in the pharmaceutical sector.
Your experience/skills:
- Competency of global IT desktop support as well as lab services including patching, configuration and diagnosis of server, desktop, PC systems, Mac Systems and Mobile Devices (iPhone, iPad, Android)
- Strong background in troubleshooting MS Win 7/10, Adobe, MS Office, Internal Applications and Modern Browsers
- Proven ability to educate end users on application and device capabilities along with excellent interpersonal, communication, problem solving and analysis skills
- Profound background in end user training with traditional and modern training methods, tools and techniques
- Professional certifications in MCSE, Cisco, CompTIA A+/Net+, ACMT are advantageous
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Educating and providing technical support to both scientists and administrators
- Performing day-to-day support of IT devices, such as PCs, Macs, mobile devices as well as infrastructure and applications, both off the shelf and internally developed
- Building and maintaining strong working relationships with users and other support personnel
- Providing high quality, proactive, friendly support and education services to all users within a Tech Center location
- Installing and configuring desktop software and peripherals
