Beschreibung

For our client, global banking company, located in Zurich is looking for a Senior Project Officer for a 6-Months contract.

Responsibilities:
. Support the planning, delivery, and control of projects or programs based on the objectives, scope and resources agreed by the project stakeholders
. Support the Program or Project Manager(s) in the definition of project plans including key activities, deliverables, milestones, roadmaps and people/technical/funding requirements
. Set up the project management office including the definition of reporting standards and procedures for project, program and portfolio management
. Coordinate the roll-out of the Project Management Office within the defined program or project including the production of governance documentation, identification of knowledge sharing tools, preparation of communication materials/training methods, and the implementation of progress reporting mechanisms
. Manage program/project administration including progress reporting, financial reports, resource forecasts, benefits tracking, and risks/issues management
. Manage PMOs in (onshore) nearshore or/and offshore locations
. Produce meeting minutes, draft workshop presentations/briefings, and consolidate data/reports across multiple workstreams
. Implement and manage the program/project control environment and facilitate the identification of risks and issues
. Organize and/or host periodic progress meetings and steering committees with senior management and multidisciplinary teams to facilitate decision making and provide transparency
. Build and maintain cross functional and team relationships within Corporate Center functions and Business Divisions

Preferred Qualifications:
. Excellent academic record with 5-7 years' work experience in project management, consulting and/or the financial services industry
. Strong analytical background, attention to detail, with structured/organized/methodical, and planning skills
. Eager and able to solve complex problems with multidisciplinary teams
. First class interpersonal skills with a strong client focus, excellent presentation and communication skills (oral and written)
. Ability to work under pressure and to deliver on strict deadlines in a timely manner
. Initial experiences in directly or indirectly managing staff (1-2 resources)
. Ability to prioritize and schedule workload
. Strong analytical skills (critical thinking, problem solving, decision making)
. Ability to work in a Matrix organization
. Ability to manage complexity and to deal with professionals from different levels in the organization
. Preferred examples of key qualifications: Prince2, Project Management Institute, Lean Six Sigma
. Ability to build relationships across a global organization, work independently, build trust and to work efficiently with internal and external stakeholders
. Strong MS Office skills including Excel and PowerPoint
. Fluent in English both written and spoken; other languages are a plus
