On behalf of our client, a financial Institute here in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced Senior Java Back End Developer with good Spring Boot experience. For this 6 month contract position based in Zürich, our client is looking for an English speaking candidate.

Overview:
- Help develop the compliant client onboarding review tools. The team is tasked to rebuild the technology stack for client onboarding review, reporting, and coordination.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for developing features which combine a UI component, a micro-service middle layer, and Back End storage
- Develop User Friendly solutions on workstations and mobile devices
- Support test manager and testing team by active communication and reviewing test cases and test reports as well as offshore cooperation by actively improving processes, communication and cultural understanding
- Apply Continuous Integration Development and Testing Techniques
- Practice Agile and XP development
- Provide planning input for IT project manager regarding development/infrastructure tasks
- Provide review feedback to business-, IT- and testing experts
Your Skills:
- Over 7 years of Java Back End development experience
- Proven experience with Spring Boot
- Extensive experienced working in an Agile environment with good knowledge of the Scrum principles
- Over 5 years of experience in building RESTful services used by JavaScript (Front End)
- Java 8 & Python experience is highly beneficial
- Previous banking experience with preference in Compliance & Regulatory environment (considered a plus)
- Strong written and verbal communicator
- Fluent in English
