Edelway is a Services Consultancy based in Switzerland.
One of our best clients, a global banking company, based in Zurich is currently looking for a "Financial Change Specialist - Accounting & Finance - IFRS + US GAAP".
THE ROLE
- Regulatory reporting followin new impairment guidance for credit losses mandated by FASB and IASB
- To work as a Business Analyst within the project
- Responsible for the gathering of business requirements, documentation of the business requirements including putting forward recommendations for solutions
- Preparation of functional specifications and use cases for the delivery of the business requirements
- Preparation of test plans, test cases, co-ordinating with users and IT during the testing phase
- Execution of specific test cases
- Preparation of the documentation and steps for deployment, including user training
THE PROFILE
- 7+ years working in Financial Change with expertise in FASB and IASB
- MBA (Finance or Accounting)
- Experience within large GLOBAL regulatory projects
- Banking background with knowledge of loan, secured lending and risk models
- Working knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP
- Knowledge of new regulatory demand and implementation policies
- Experience with entity scoping and stakeholder management
- Basic knowledge of the IT language would be a big plus
