Finance Change (IFRS/USGAAP/Swiss GAAP)
On behalf of our client, a leading bank in Zürich, we are looking for a Senior Finance Change Professional with project management and business analysis background in IFRS, USGAAP or Swiss GAAP projects. For this contract position based in Zurich in Switzerland our client is looking for an English speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible. Overview:
- The successful candidate will work in the Impairment Program which has two major deliverables in 2018 (IFRS Go-Live) and 2019 (US GAAP Go-Live). This project consists of designing, constructing and implementing processes and controls to deliver timely and accurate presentation and disclosures which covers both the end-to-end process/controls as well as specific IT developments to enable delivery of the required presentation and disclosures.
Responsibilities:
- To work as a Business Analyst within the project
- Responsible for the gathering of business requirements, documentation of the business requirements including putting forward recommendations for solutions, where required
- Preparation of functional specifications and use cases for the delivery of the business requirements
- Preparation of test plans, test cases, co-ordinating with users and IT during the testing phase
- Execution of specific test cases
- Preparation of the documentation and steps for deployment, including user training where required
- Performs user training where required
Skills:
- Over 7 years of experience as Senior Business Analyst in a large scale global regulatory project
- Very good understanding of accounting standards
- Degree in Finance/Accounting/IT (MBA (Finance)/CA/ICWA/CPA/ACCA) with in-depth experience in IFRS, Swiss GAAP or US_GAAP accounting treatment
- Experience in Finance Change or Capital Change is required
- Strong communication, organisational and negotiation skills
- Very good analytical skills, problem solving skills and critical thinking
- Fluent English
- Ability to work well under pressure, independently and to take initiative
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Good team player
Desired skills:
- Some knowledge in banking products (loans, SLB, risk models)
