Finance Data Analyst
Position goals:
In the role of a financial data analyst the candidate takes on a key role in this strategic project initiative. The goal of the project is to provide a modern management information system for the executive team and board of directors. The candidate has a self starter attitude, can interact professionally with stakeholders at different levels from IT experts to senior executives. The candidate must perform complex data analysis tasks and discuss and share the results with various finance representatives - being in a position to explain deviations and come up with possible solutions. In addition, the visualization of the score cards need to be designed.
Main activities:
- Perform complex analysis of financial data - interact with various experts from business and IT
- Design, implement and maintain prototype solution of financial score cards
- Design visualization of score cards
- Closely work together with project management and PMO for alignment of priorities, progress reporting and liaison with senior stakeholders.
Job requirements:
- Proficient in SQL - relevant data analysis experience
- Data visualization and Business Intelligence skills
- Xls, VBA for prototyping - understanding of accounting principles (USGAAP, IFRS, Ecconomic)
- Navigate ambiguity and managing conflicting priorities
- Financial analysis background
