Edelway is a Swiss IT leading services company.
On behalf of our global client based in Zurich we are actively looking for SAP ILM/ALM Technical Project Manager to join them on a long term contract.
Location: Zurich (preferably) or Konstanz, some remote work could be discussed.
Start: ASAP
Duration: 4 months (+possible extension)
The role:
The SAP Technical project/Integration manager is a member of the Global SAP Center of Excellence. As a project manager you will have the insight of into the issues helps to bridge the gaps in understanding the business requirements and IT and motivate them to implement the best solution.
The responsibility is to lead and manage the SAP ILM project:
-Leading and delivering technical SAP project on time and in budget
-Determining the project members necessary for the project life cycle
-Ensuring integration with the solution among all stakeholders in alignment with the overall release management.
-Bringing deep technical SAP understanding to effectively many such projects as SAP archiving, SAP systems decommissioning, etc.
-Engage with the stakeholders in understanding the business requirements, system landscape and propose new solutions and applications that provide enhanced value to the business.
-Prepare POC for this project
-Working closely with different project teams and service providers
You will:
*Prepare internal approval documents and drives approval process
*Manage validation and QA alignment
*Manage with Architecture and run teams on the delivery of IT projects and the support of infrastructure/systems/applications within area of responsibility
*Align activities with the regional SAP CoE heads and SAP Service Delivery Manager
*Align activities with the internal functional SAP team leads
*Maintain a good level of SAP product knowledge combined with a class leading understanding of current business and technology trends
*Maintain working knowledge of business and technology, remains current with emerging industry trends, and envisions new capabilities to meet business needs
*Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills with technical and non-technical clients.
Your profile:
*8+ years of SAP and excellent project management skills
*Technical SAP knowledge in architecture, basis, applications
*IT Service Management knowledge and process knowledge
*Expertise from at least 3 projects in the area of SAP Basis/BC, archiving or system decommissioning
*Experience and knowledge in ITIL service processes
*Experience managing and working with outsourced services
*Project management experience
*Bachelor's degree or equivalent IT experience
*Information technology experience managing a suite of applications with end users located globally
* English Fluent
Desired:
*PMP or Prince2 certification
*ITIL Foundation
*Experience with validated systems
