For our client, a major pharmaceutical entresprise in Basel, we are seeking for an Application Project Manager 50%.
ROLE PURPOSE
- Support Service Deliver Lead (SDL) Application Technology
- Support coordination of application handovers
- Support coordination of application management and service operation campaigns
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Ensures together with the SDL conformance of the program effort to the technology strategies and provides overall leadership and management for the project effort
- Scoping and planning the program, including developing and gaining agreement for the project
- Ensures that SDL, sponsor, and steering committee are fully informed of progress, risks to meeting program objectives, and issues that they need to address
- Coordinates together with the SDL application management and service operation campaigns
- Building commitment and agreement on the project plan and its implementation with Application Portfolio Managers
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- Fluent in English - oral and written.
- Project/Program Management certification of advantage.
- MS in Computer Science or Engineering.
- At least 8 years' experience in IT Program/Project Management.
- Several years of experience in IT Application Management and Application Service Operations.
- Good awareness of IT trends in Application Management and Application Service Operations.
- GxP knowledge.
- Experience with MS Office Tools, MS SharePoint and MS Project.
- Team work in a challenging IT environment.
- Ability to work in an International as well as multicultural environment.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Flexibility and experience in prioritizing tasks.
- Ability to deal with variable workload.
- Demonstrable leadership skills within a global Matrix organization.
- Strong outcome-driven mindset.
