Project Manager SDL - Senior wanted for our Basel based client in the pharmaceutical sector.
Your experience/skills:
- MSc in Computer Science or Engineering
- 8 years' experience in IT Program/Project Management with several years of experience in IT Application Management and Application Service Operations
- IT savvy with capability to recognize trends in Application Management and Application Service Operations
- Familiarity with MS Office Tools, especially MS SharePoint and MS Project
- Competency to work in a challenging IT environment, as well as demonstrating leadership skills within a global Matrix organization
- Extensive GxP knowledge and previous experience in the pharmaceutical sector would be beneficial
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Cooperating with the service delivery lead (SDL) to ensure alignment of the program effort to the technology strategies and providing overall leadership and management for the project effort
- Defining and planning the program, including developing and gaining agreement for the project
- Guaranteeing that SDL, sponsor, and steering committee are fully informed of progress, risks to meeting program objectives and issues that they need to address
- Coordinating application management and service operation campaigns, in liaison with the SDL
- Building commitment and agreement on the project plan and its implementation with Application Portfolio Managers
