Compliance Officer with excellent Russian speaking skills wanted for our Zurich based client in the banking sector.
Your experience/skills:
- University degree in a relevant field with 3 years of working experience in the banking sector ideally within Compliance or Audit
- 1 year AML experience, especially performing due diligence and transactional analysis
- Deep interest for Compliance, risk topics and international political developments, additional knowledge of Eastern European markets would be beneficial
- Open, flexible, communicative and team-oriented personality with perseverance as an independent Control Function representative with good analytical and investigative skills
- Languages: fluent English and Russian both written and spoken, additional languages like: German, Chinese or Arabic would be an asset
Your tasks:
- Completing risk assessments for politically exposed persons (PEP), foremost during the relationship opening and periodic review process covering Anti-Money-Laundering Risk and Reputational Risk aspects as well as supporting the global rollout of the PEP risk scoring model
- Advising the Front Office staff on a daily basis with regard to PEP related matters
- Supporting Regulatory and Audit requests and coordinating the regular monitoring and review tasks
- Participating in working groups and projects to improve and implement PEP related issues and to training junior staff to conduct above mentioned activities
