GL Accountant - Senior wanted for our Basel based client in the pharmaceutical sector.
Your experience/skills:
- Multiannual GL experience ideally with exposure to various ERP-systems
- Previous experience and profound knowledge of JDE is a must
- Working experience within a multinational organization and a multicultural environment, preferably in the pharmaceutical or medical devices sector
- Competency to set up and conduct audits would be beneficial
- Independent and self-reliant working attitude
- Languages: fluent English and French both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Providing accounting and closing skills to ensure accurate accounts and timely reporting as well as setting up and maintaining the local chart of accounts/master data and cost centre hierarchy in the ERP systems
- Ensuring that transactions of a business have been properly accounted and accurately reflecting the company's accounting process
- Assuring adherence to company policy and proper expense and revenue recording for managing reports and financial statements
- Full charge accounting responsibility for specific entities
