Our client, a top tier global bank based in Zurich, is looking for a highly competent Business Analyst with extensive experience in Credit Risk and a good understanding of strategic data sourcing and reporting platforms to join a fast-paced, major project within a large regulatory initiative.

Tasks
- Close engagement with Credit Risk and Risk Analytics and Reporting to define business requirements and represent delivery of their reporting infrastructure
- Ensuring that the requirements are addressing existing issues and gaps against applicable regulatory requirements
- Effective liaison with IT professionals working as part of the joint Change/IT delivery teams
- Adhering to project delivery methodologies agreed for specific programs (waterfall and agile)
- Aligning program deliverables with a number of contributing and dependent projects
- Development of all documentation needed and syndication to all stakeholders achieving necessary approvals
- Identification, analysis and management of risks and issues impacting project delivery
- Impact analysis of changes to systems and process, as well as changes to scope
- User acceptance testing and training of end users
Ideal Profile
- At least 7-10 years' experience in Business Analysis and Change required, ideally in a similar role within a large financial institution
- Excellent understanding of Credit Risk with direct experience in system implementations
- Proficient understanding of front to back systems and current regulatory requirements with specific experience in one of the following in the Credit Risk domain: Swiss Bank, Private Bank, Corporate and Commercial Bank, Investment Bank environment
- Effective senior business stakeholder management, and ability to engage with experts
- Track record of sourcing and defining clear and comprehensive requirements and experience of embedding new risk management systems in a complex organisations
- Experience in designing operating models, processes and control functions
- Solid understanding of Regulatory delivery programs in Risk functions
- Familiarity with business processes and financial products
- Ability to iterate through requirements in an agile manner
- Ability to explain complex topics in an understandable manner, equally to SMEs and senior management
- Ability to face very tight timelines in order to achieve regulatory milestones
- Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks while working with little supervision
- Reliable, analytical and flexible personality with a structured and analytical approach
- Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail skills
- Strong consulting skills
- Excellent command of English; German would be an advantage
