Junior Data Analysis consultant - Big data - English - Basel - Switzerland
NextLink is having an existing position as a Junior Data Analysis consultant for global projects in Basel, Switzerland.
General information:
- Start Date: 24.07.2017 (ASAP)
- End Date: 29.12.2018 (until end of year)
- Work Location: Basel
- Work Load: 100%
- Remote: 1 day per week, prior approval needed.
- Extension: Possible
- Travelling: Limited travel, if the project requires, 0 to 25% possible
Tasks & Responsibilities:
You will be analysing large amounts sensor data collected from smartphones and other wearable in clinical trials to discover digital biomarkers required to assess drug efficacy.
Must Haves:
- Very good university degree in mathematics, statistics, natural science or informatics
- 3+ years of experience with analysing big data sets, data visualization (former engineering experience as well as technical know-how shown in the last projects)
- Experience with software development and big data infrastructures
- Experience with analysing biomechanical and sensor data desirable
- Profound knowledge in Python, R, Matlab or similar software packages/languages
- Knowledge of MS Office
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Self-starting team player
- Fluent in English
