For our banking client we are currently looking for a

Automation role - Data analyst

Start date: ASAP
End date: 05.12.2017
Location: Zurich

Your tasks:

  • Develop and implement innovative analytics to support the management of all major IT incidents, and fixing of root cause problems
  • Systematic identification of automation opportunities using unsupervised and supervised machine learning techniques for multi-dimensional data
  • Robotic scanning and algorithmic profiling of incidents descriptions, pattern recognition, different forms of clustering
  • Build a quantitative modelling tool for incident management, which quantifies the financial baseline created by the current incidents and workforce sourcing status quo
  • Taylor the modelling to prioritize and sequence automation decisions through close collaboration with senior Subject Matter Experts

The ideal candidate shall bring:

  • Strong analytical, numerical and problem solving skills
  • Team player and proven ability to lead virtual teams
  • Ability to understand complex issues and explain them in simple terms
  • Multi-year experience in business analysis, portfolio optimisation, quantitative modelling, research or App development role
  • Strong IT skills, experienced in use of high-performance Servers to process data and utilise machine learning algorithms in a timely manner
  • Proficient use of R-studio and/or Python software packages on data analytics/text mining
  • Excellent command of English (both written and verbal)
