ResponsibilitiesSupport for Planning and Execution of racking&patching, as part of Data Center migration:
• Prepare Rack and Patch plans for the new data center modules
• Define target rack locations for all asset to be moved
• Plan, agree and define required patch cables for all devices in the target racks
• Document all planned and actual location information for equipment and cables in the existing Asset Management Tool
• Define and agree a change management process (within existing process framework) that will allow to request and track changes of planned rack locations and cabling, and will ensure correct documentation and installation
• Documentation of the agreed Change Process according to existing standards
• Ensure that change process is included in existing implementation processes, and execute changes
• Coordinate impact of change process on affected Work groups
Requirements
• Working experience as technical project lead
• Solid experience in data center infrastructure
• Knowledge in network technology (Arista and Cisco)
• Experience in facilitating technical workshops
• Good German and English language skills
