Beschreibung

For our Client, a well renowned international Bank, we are looking for a Sourcing Specialist (Contractor)

Responsibilities:

- Supports the execution of the sourcing strategy for each of the Group Technology Account Lines, and is the first point of contact for deal related queries for both the vendor organization as well within the different Service Delivery organizations

- Manages, drives and co-ordinates detailed commercial deal negotiations with our vendors, ensuring that deals deliver the strategy and maximum commercial benefit to the bank

- Provide Group Technology Account Lines with clear direction on vendor capabilities, go-to-market approach, deal negotiation strategies and contract execution. Challenge the requirements of the Account Lines and actively seeks opportunities for deal consolidation opportunities

- Ensures that there is clean transition from pre-contract phases of deal negotiation into business as usual ie ongoing contract management, vendor performance, contract compliance etc.

- Works to identify, address and improve current sourcing processes, templates and tools in order to drive efficiency and effectiveness of delivery execution

- Knows and understands the contract in detail. Is the first point of contact for contract related queries for both the vendor organization as well within the Service Delivery organizations whilst validating the vendor performance against the contractual commitments (SLA) and invoking Credits or penalties associated

- Manages the end-to-end life cycle process of Contract Change from development through to execution, including obtaining the relevant stakeholder approvals (Impact assessment; preparation of change request; Negotiations with Vendor in conjunction with ChainIQ and internal procedures; Final approval and signoff)

- When in dispute or for an issue, interprets the contract and ensures timely problem resolution of contractual issues to minimize impact of service disruptions to the organization this will include liaison with the respective internal teams to help mitigate any issues/risks effecting operations (Vendor Manager, Platform services, Legal, ChainIQ, Accounts payables team, Group Risk )

- Ensures optimization of the contract commercially during its life cycle for eg (not limited to) Change to the scope of services, SLA realignment, bench marking, pricing structure. Manages the negotiations in this regard along with the ChainIQ team and will verify proposals and RFx responses against contractual terms and conditions (including pricing, proposed charging mechanisms, chargeability of items) proposing if necessary the most appropriate solution for the organization

Requirements

- Experience of working with or for large IT service providers and Software publishers

- Experience of managing application development and testing services

- Experience of managing large (multi-million) Managed Services or IT Outsourcing contracts including expertise in outsourcing methodologies, contracts and commercial models

- Extensive experience with contract negotiation with third parties on financials and legal terms whilst having the ability to understand, interpret and draw conclusions from contractual terms

- Widespread cross-functional interaction with senior leadership within the organization requiring maturity and a strong emphasis on concise and accurate communication, both written and verbal

- People management and collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with staff from a diverse mix of backgrounds and cultures

- Strong commercial and financial analysis
