Our client, one of the biggest pharmaceutical companies based in Basel, is looking for a Data Migration Project Manager who has strong experience in the Pharmaceutical industry such as good understanding of Good Pharmacovigilance Practices (GVP) and Computer System Validation (CSV) requirements.
This is a 7 months contracting role based in Basel and planned to start ASAP until the end of the year with extension opportunities.

Tasks:
- Create and develop activity plan
- Close collaboration with the business and the IT team
- Work with impacted Affiliates to align and support local activities (eg data clean-up)
- Work with subcontractor to align the monitoring of the clean-up activities
- Develop documents, guidance and communication for all migration related topics
- Conduct training and awareness activities
- Provide regular updates to the project team
- Ensuring timely communication and escalation as required
Ideal Profile:
- University Degree in Science-related subject (Advanced degree preferred)
- Minimum 5 years' experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry required, ideally with exposure to pharmacovigilance (PV) and pharmaceutical development. Awareness of sales & marketing environments and activities, and relation to PV will be an advantage
- Good understanding of Good Pharmacovigilance Practives (GVP) and Computerized
- System Validation (CSV) requirements
- Good Data Management background in addition strong project management skills ideally previous IT projects from the Business side
- Able to understand and anticipate key business issues and develop appropriate processes that meet GPV and CSV requirements
- Strong analytical and systems thinking; good problem solving, organization and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work on contradicting requirements and prepare for decision making
- Sets high standards and has attention to detail. Is able to operate objectively and independently, deciding when to escalate issues where appropriate
- Experience in managing complex, cross-functional projects
- Track record of working and communicating effectively with cross functional groups and to
- obtain buy-in. Able to explain credibly when under pressure
