For our client, global banking company located in Zurich is looking for a Technical Business Analyst for Cards Propagation for 6-Months contract.
Role Purpose:
The role owner is responsible to work alongside his/her colleagues in the respective area of expertise in projects but also in BAU to a certain extent if needed.
Business analysis, specification and implementation (parameterisation) in the following areas of the Core Banking Application (Avaloq)
o Payments, Money Transfer
o Standing Orders, Direct Debits
o Cards (Debit and Credit) Message interfaces to our 3rd party systems (ie Group Systems, FirstData, TSYS and E2E)
Work in projects, mainly for Open Banking (PSD2), supporting the PM/PL in managing the projects
Incident management and 3rd level support
Interface and 3rd party application maintenance
Testing activities during release cycles
Business & technical end user consulting
Enables smooth operation of Banking systems
Solve and prevent risk issues
Skills:
Technical
Project management
Technical know-how in operating systems, databases and applications
Development skills in at least one programming language
PL/SQL skills, Oracle database know-how
Avaloq certification - or several years of experience with Avaloq (more than 5 years)
Soft skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Structured, analytical and proactive way of thinking
Ability to work independently and innovatively but also act as a valuable team member
Required experience:
Experience in business analysis, consulting
Experience in IT projects/IT project management
Experience in Payments, Cards & Reconciliations
Education in banking (preferred)
5+ years of Avaloq and/or Banking experience
University degree or equivalent in computer science or engineering
Other Requirements:
Strong analytical skills
Reliable and trustworthy
Computer applications skills (ie Microsoft Office and others)
English written and spoken
German spoken, written would be beneficial
