For our client in Zurich, we are looking for a
Financial Analyst IFRS 15
for a 6 months' assignment.
Job description:
We are offering a 6 month position within Group Accounting Policy tasked with implementing the new IFRS 15 Revenue Recognition Standard and the US GAAP equivalent.
Group Accounting Policy is a Group wide function which is responsible for interpreting, defining and implementing UBS's IFRS accounting policies.
The IFRS 15 implementation project is a key Temporary Regulatory Project for UBS. It impacts many of UBS's divisions including Asset Management, Personal & Corporate, Wealth Management, Wealth Management Americas and the Investment Bank.
Responsibilities:
- Partnering with key stakeholders in Finance (GAP, IMOFC Service line and delivery teams), IT and impacted Business Divisions
- Detailed contract analysis to evidence and support the current revenue recognition practices
- Assisting with other work required to go live eg Business Requirements, Governance, Disclosures & Reporting
- Knowledge of the systems and processes of the bank is an asset, eg Merival, GEAR, GGL
- Good knowledge of accounting concepts
- Bachelor degree (or similar)
- Strong presentation and reporting skills are necessary
- Adherence to milestones in a time-sensitive, dynamic environment
- Self-driven personality who assumes full ownership of his or her work
- English fluent (German is a plus)
