For our client, a well renowned Swiss/International Bank, we are looking for a Risk/Reporting Specialist - BCBS 239 - SQL/SAS (Coding) with business analysis understanding and broad banking experience within a large organization.
For this requisition we can only consider candidates already living in Switzerland and holding a valid work permit or candidates willing to relocate before the 1st of July 2017(only from the EU).
Project Overview:
- Support RtB (run the bank) tasks of the team
- Support the strategic BCBS 239 project (eg adjusting the data sourcing from Legacy systems to strategic IT systems, User Acceptance Testing, Review of Business Requirements)
- Support tactical efficiency projects (eg Next Generation)
Your role:
- Create and update Management & Governance risk reports for the attention of Senior Management, Risk Committees, Risk Officers, Monitoring units, Regulators and internal/external audit
- Create ad-hoc evaluations and analyses on a wide range of loan and asset types, assessing portfolio, issuer and single client risks
- Preparation of worklists for the attention of Monitoring Risk Control Switzerland, but also for other global units within CRO (Chief Risk Office) Wealth Management
- Act as Subject Matter Expert in close collaboration with Investment Risk Control, Risk methodology, Risk officers, Project teams and Risk IT - Source/prepare data and calculate risk measures with SQL-, SAS-, VBA-Coding
Your profile:
- risk reporting/risk analysis experience
- very good English skills
- SQL/SAS coding experience (VBA is also an advantage)
- good knowledge in credit risk and capital market instruments
- excellent analytical skills combined with good interpersonal skills
- able to quickly understand new concepts
- a committed team player with a strong customer focus
