For our client, a global banking company located in Zurich, Harvey Nash is looking for Operational Risk Control Specialist
We are looking for someone like that to:
- lead data enhancement for operational risk related losses which is an important input for the stress testing quantification of operational risks
- work closely with the legal and litigation function to enhance key data attributes which are critical to enhance capital planning submissions in the US
- support management to establish data monitoring concepts which will be implemented globally on the collection of operational risk related loss data
- perform second-line-of-defense activities in relation to operational risk loss reconciliations with financial ledgers
- ensure risk frameworks and associated capital assessments are well designed
- drive education on root cause analysis for operational risk event related deep dives and support the first and second line of defense stakeholders to enhance event analysis
Your experience and skills
You have:
- a university/FH degree in economics, Business, Finance/Accountancy or a Law related discipline
- ideally experience in risk management, risk control, audit or compliance
- experience in working with large datasets and ideally familiar with the establishment of data monitoring concepts
- effective communication skills, both written and spoken
You are:
- fluent in English and ideally German
- analytical with excellent judgment and problem-solving skills
- reliable and resilient
