For our banking client we are currently looking for a
Cognos TM1 - Senior Developer
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 6 months
Location: Zurich
We are looking for a senior Cognos TM1 developer with Knowledge in Risk Methodologies and Reporting.
Your tasks
- develop software components as defined by the systems development life cycle (SDLC)
- test unit and integration of components for integration into larger subsystems
- support the Software Component Manager in resolving high-priority defects and deploying fixes to production systems
- make sure that produced code is secure, stable and operational before handover to the Software Component Manager
- manage versions of software artefacts
The ideal candidate shall bring
- a senior Cognos TM1 developer with Knowledge in Risk Methodologies and Reporting.
- University degree or professional experience of at least 5 years or more
- In - depth experience in application design experience with Cognos TM1 is essential, including Rules, Turbo Integrator Processes, Planning Manager, Excel Integration (formulas and dynamic Sheets)
- Good experience with Scripting language (DOS-Batchfiles)
- Very good analytical and design skills and the ability to grasp complex business or technical issues and request in a structured and efficient manner
- Knowledge of UNIX (Linux)
- Good knowledge of SQL (writing queries)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
