For a global bank in Switzerland we are looking for a Cognos TM1 expert to join the team.

Environment/Project description:

Group Risk IT is responsible for the management, specification and construction of firmwide risk systems across the IT Risk Portfolio in many areas including Group Risk Reporting.

EIRR

EIRR is an application based on IBM Cognos TM1 used for manual data capture, aggregation and consolidation including quality assurance in the area of Risk Reporting at Group level. The business divisions use EIRR to capture and submit their risk data. At group level the delivered data from the divisions is consolidated and quality assured for later reporting. A workflow component supports the process of submitting data and issuing the respective signoffs.

Task & Responsibilities

We are looking for a senior Cognos TM1 expert ideally with Knowledge in Risk Methodologies and Reporting.

Required Experience/Skills:

  • University degree or professional experience of at least 5 years or more
  • In - depth experience in application design experience with Cognos TM1 is essential, including Rules, Turbo Integrator Processes, Planning Manager, Excel Integration (formulas and dynamic Sheets)
  • Knowledge of MS-Excel
  • Good experience with Scripting language (DOS-Batchfiles)
  • Very good analytical and design skills and the ability to grasp complex business or technical issues and request in a structured and efficient manner
  • Knowledge of UNIX (Linux)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
