Job Description:
Summary: In an interdisciplinary project with team members from multiple sites you as a Professional Data Modeler are responsible to create a centralized IT system framework to automatically acquire, analyze, and report global manufacturing data for improved compliance with process and product monitoring.
Job Responsibilities:
Design stable, reliable and effective met models across multiple different manufacturing data sources. Liaise with developers to improve applications and establish best practices. Gather user requirements and identify new features
Skills:
-5 to 7 years of experience working in a Data Modeler or Data Architect capacity with hands on experience in Oracle PL/SQL and MS SQL, as well as extensive background in data modeling and data warehousing.
-Understanding of star/snowflake schemas, indexing, aggregate tables, dimension tables, constraints, keys, and fact tables required.
-Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques.
-Understand the data requirements for the project and drive the solution based on the information needs.
-Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
-Fluent English speaking.
Nice to Have:
-Experience as a Data Modeler or Data Architect preferred
-Experience in EII (JBOSS DV/TEIID)
-German speaking
Education:
-Higher Education, such as University Degree (Bachelors or Similar)
Languages:
-Excellent spoken and written skills of English.
-German (Nice to have).
