Job Purpose:
To ensure that reporting of AR balances and EFA is correct, accurate and compliant. This includes active participation in monthly closing and reporting activities for Alcon Pharmaceuticals Ltd. Assist month-end Sales Transmission process for APL Third Party Sales and Sales to Other BU. Ensure timely booking of accruals/provisions for revenue and assist markets to resolve concerns on monthly reported Sales following the close.
Major Accountabilities:
Assist to the preparation of Balance Sheet accounts reconciliations and FCRS reported schedules with regards to Sales Provisions and Accruals. Perform tasks in compliance with the Company quality standards
Assist for reporting: Revenue recognition, Interest calculation charged-back to markets and ST to LT reclassification of AR balances.
Assist month-end Sales Transmission process for APL Third Party Sales and Sales to Other BU. Assist markets to resolve concerns on monthly reported Sales following the month-end close
Assist coordinate with markets and other departments (ie Customer Service and Accounts Payables) for Revenue Deduction accruals and other revenue reporting requirements. Booking and allocation of off-invoice Commissions and follow-up on Credit Notes compensation against open AR balances
Support Bad Debt Provision and AR Reporting/Forecast to the markets. Significant contribution to improve current reporting processes within AR team is expected. Proactive role in APL Finance projects expected
Support AR Balances Clean-up prior to IRIS go-live could be required and therefore 3rd party customers Cash allocation needs to be mastered
Educational background:
Commercial diploma, degree or school diploma in finance and/or accounting or relevant experience.
