Senior Change Manager - English - Basel - Switzerland
NextLink is having an existing position as a Senior Change Manager for global projects in Basel, Switzerland.
General information:
- Start date: 08.05.2017
- Latest start date: 01.06.2017 (the earlier the better)
- End date: 31.12.2017
- Work location: Basel
- Workload: 80-100% (would be discussed)
- Extension: would be possible, but is not approved yet
- Remote/Home Office: would be possible (up to 20%), prior approval needed
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Design and manage global communication plans and activities
- Provide strategic vision for change management and user adoption of Planisware
- Development of training strategy and of the training itself
- Manage and facilitate workshops to ensure a strong understanding of change management principles and user adoption techniques to be deployed during the project
- Identify change management and user adoption related business issues/risks and recommend options and plans to remediate
- Implementation and adoption of CM guidelines and standards across multiple work streams within the project
- Design and manage global communication plans and activities
NOTE: We are not looking for a project manager. You will only support the PM, but your role will focus on CM activities.
Must Haves:
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in change management (particularly communication and stakeholder management; at least 4 years of experience in multinational companies)
- Experience in IT change management (experience with tool implementation is preferred)
- Certified in CM (Change Mgt)/OCM (Organizational Change Mgt)/or similar (eg PMP also possible)
- Experience in training development (in the last 5 years)
- Excellent English language skills
- Great customer focus skills and attention to details (proactive, communicative, and a thinker )
- Ability to see the big picture, but at the same time do detailed work
- Great communication skills
- Great team player
NOTE: We are not looking for an IT person, but for a 100% Change Manager. You should not be too technical. You should have some IT knowledge and should understand IT-related topics or processes. Your skills should focus on general change management.
