For our Client, a well renowned international Bank, we are looking for a Compliance Officer/Regulations Specialist (Contractor)
Your main task would be the mapping of relevant regulation and obligations in a meaningful way to the existing framework (taxonomies, policies and controls). Checking already mapped regulation and obligations against the banks existing framework (policies, controls and risk taxonomies ) in a meaningful way.
In order to be the right candidate for the job, you:
- Understand banking relevant regulation in Switzerland
- Understand the various business activities of a Universal Bank
- Have a flair for the operational risk framework of a Bank
- Are able to connect the dots in a meaningful manner
You would be part of the Regulatory Development team in Zurich
Experience and Skills:
You have:
- A degree in law, economics or equivalent
- 5 to 7 years' experience in risk management, risk control, audit or compliance within a Swiss Bank
- A wide understanding of rules and regulations affecting the financial industry
You are:
- analytic, with the ability to provide practical solutions for minimizing risk
- result-oriented and assertive
- fluent in English and German/French/Italian (only one of these required)
