As the various geographically dispersed teams within this Global Pharmaceutical Super Power continue to expand, we have a new requirement for a global relationship manager within the company HQ.

Resposibilites are as below:
ROLE PURPOSE
*Relationship Management between the infrastructure department and all other IT internal departments
*SPOC (single point of contact) for the internal IT customers for all infrastructure needs and suggested improvements (server, network, access, cloud, addressing a root cause analysis)
*Demand Management: collects all technical infrastructure requirements from the internal IT customers; sometimes also from scientific community. Manages the demand and expectations with the accounts and the infrastructure peers
*Roadmap: Translate all annual demand into a visual roadmap and update regularly

*Excellent communication skills - more important than any technical skills
*Excellent presentation skills (written and verbal)
*Promote a climate of "Happy customers" and happy team members
*Experienced working in multinational teams; ie sensitive of cultural differences and adaptable
*Experienced working in a global setup; ie comfortable with video conferences and remote work
*Professional personality with a "getting things done" attitude
*Fluency in English (knowledge of additional languages is an advantage)
Details
Relationship Management
*Building bridges between infrastructure and internal IT customers: Establish partnership and close cooperation with approximately 5 assigned accounts
*Address pain points and negative feedback with solution-oriented actionable next steps
*Own and moderate regular account meetings; establish a two-way-communication
*Build trust and credibility through communication, character, competency and context
*Bridge with peers within the infrastructure department
Demand Management
*Develop and communicate the overall aligned strategic demand for the account
*Manage expectations collaboratively with the accounts and infrastructure peers,
*Negotiate between infrastructure and informatics teams to find pragmatic solutions
*Align IT, infrastructure goals and objectives with business needs & priorities
*Develop business cases for projects; evaluate feasibility of new demand
*Professional hand over of demand and requirements to the execution teams such as project management or engineering
Strategic Roadmap
*In collaboration with the account, develop and communicate the overall strategic roadmap
*Translate all annual demand into a visual Roadmap of the account and update regularly
*Know and understand their strategic outlook and how the demand fits into the infrastructure organization; support planning process
