For our client, a pharmaceutical company in Switzerland, we are looking for a motivated and ambitious:

Senior BI Consultant

The candidate will be managing an offsite team for the implementation of global financial reporting and dashboards within area of Global Services, in addition to driving the supporting processes across all Regions and Global Functions. Besides s/he will be the main developer as well giving technical support for the team and guidance for the architecture and system design. Part of the responsibilities are also act as Business Analyst and find the best technical solution for business problems.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Supports the definition, design and guidance for the system architecture and implementation of global financial reporting and dashboards in area of Global Services
  • Leads the deployment team in Poland
  • Act as main developer as well giving technical support for the team
  • Breaks down the tasks for the deployment team, follow up and support the team
  • Hands over the solution to team in Poland for sustainable operations
  • Communicates updates to the business and deployment team

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience in computer sciences, software engineering
  • 10+ years of professional IT experience
  • 10 years of experience on SAP Business Intelligence, IP (Integrated Planning) and BPS (hands-on)
  • Excellent knowledge hands-on in ABAP, OO and ABAP for BW (hands-on)
  • Analyst and solution designer for Business Objects focused on Design Studio and Analysis Office is mandatory, reporting and planning
  • Deep knowledge of Webdynpro and BPS programming (hands-on)
  • Ideal knowledge in Web development and designer including usability, CSS and JavaScript
  • Proven experience and in-depth knowledge as a Business Analyst as developer and coordinator for global solutions working with onsite and offshore teams
  • Strong customer focus, experience in working in global, multi-cultural environments, with a structured working approach and excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Outgoing and open minded individual with high communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent English skills (written and spoken)
